Mother Earth, Gaia, the goddess, Mother Nature, etc. There are many names for that which we call the Divine Feminine.
What is the Divine Feminine? She is all of us. She is our connection to the natural world. We interact with her via our physical self. Our body is the sacred vessel of the great Mother. Our amazing feminine bodies which create life.
Many of us grew up learning nothing about this. We grew up in a time where women were in the work force AND raising babies. Who had time to learn about such frou-frou things? Many of us move forward in our lives, emulating the Masculine energy. It helps us feel like we are in control.
But mid-life invites us back into ourselves. To reinvent. To dream and desire and create.
But she isn’t one to be quited, she rises in us even when we aren’t aware. And for us, it can happen at the menopause transition. As we embrace our wise selves, she shows up to let us know how.
I love speaking on this subject as I become even more familiar with my own expression of the Divine Feminine. Tune in to episode 78 of the Not Your Mother’s Menopause podcast below where I am telling tales of the goddess!
